This design brings together two iconic works from art history, “Royal Tiger” (1829) by French Romantic painter Eugène Delacroix, and a passionflower botanical illustration (1896) by Art Nouveau master Eugène Grasset, reimagined through modern graphic design by Melodia, an independent artist based in Boulder, CO.

The result is something that feels both timeless and entirely new. A tiger from the golden age of Romantic painting, entwined with the sinuous botanical beauty of the Art Nouveau movement. Two Eugènes, nearly 70 years apart, brought together on grey faux leather.
